

About John
John Lynch taught elementary school students in grades two through six for forty-one years before retiring in 2013. He taught at the Balch Elementary School in Norwood, Massachusetts, for sixteen years before moving to Sarasota, Florida, with his family. John taught for seventeen years at Ashton Elementary School and eight years at Tatum Ridge Elementary School.

He graduated from Norwood High School in 1964 and Boston State College in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He received his Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University.

John is an active member of the Church of St. Patrick's, where he is a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He is a member of the Eucharistic Adoration Team, Divine Mercy Cenacle, and the OCIA Team. He also served as a member of the Legion of Mary at Incarnation Church.
His community service included delivering Meals on Wheels.

John loves writing, spending time with his wonderful wife, Irene, children, and grandchildren.
About Irene
Irene Lynch is a former principal of Epiphany Cathedral School in Venice, Florida, and a member of the Catholic Writers Guild. She is a strong and passionate woman with an undeniable love for God, her husband, John, and her family. Her laugh is contagious, and her faith inspires many.
Originally from Massachusetts, she has been a resident of Sarasota County, Florida, since 1988. She graduated from Bourne High School in 1970 and Bridgewater State College (BSC) in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She received her Master’s Degree from the University of Southern Florida (USF) in Special Education and her EDS in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She taught kindergarten and first grade at Philippi Shores Elementary School, was a Resource Teacher and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Liaison at Fruitville Elementary, and was an Assistant Principal at Venice Middle and Sarasota Middle School before becoming Principal at Epiphany Cathedral School.
She is a passionate member of the Church of St. Patrick’s and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Divine Mercy Cenacle, the Eucharistic Adoration Team, the OCIA Team, and a Eucharistic Minister. She also served as a member of the Legion of Mary at Incarnation Church. Her community service included serving as a community director at the YMCA and delivering Meals on Wheels.
