Our book, "Can We Have a Puppy?", written by John and Irene Lynch, illustrated by Daniel Oviedo, showcases the great love and affection dogs have for both children and adults alike.

We are John and Irene Lynch, husband and wife, the founders of the Lynch Legacy, and authors of five published and illustrated books.

We have been married since 1977 and are blessed with three beautiful daughters, Jill Lois Lynch Athridge, Jennifer Lee Lynch McCarron, and Jacquelyn Irene Lynch McCallister, and five special grandchildren.

Family and faith are two fundamental pillars that we hope you can see reflected in our work.

We are active members of the Church of Saint Patrick in Sarasota, Florida. Our five cherished books—"If Today You Hear His Voice," "Harden Not Your Hearts," "The Legend of the Tooth Fairy," "Can We Have a Puppy?" and "The True Meaning of Christmas"—are very special to us.
